The surrounding here in our area looks a bit like The  Norfolk Broads in England and is  famous for its birds’ sanctuary.
It is one of the largest river-meadow areas of Europe. You can see the Petro Chemical Refinery in the background, north, and the  canal bridge leading to the River Oder and Poland in 3 km distance

You will find these and a lot of other sculptures in the town. Near the local theatre there is a little park, dedicated to the history of Huguenots who played a famous role in this area. The theatre is located at the site of the former castle which was destroyed and not restored unfortunately.
